This fall ReadBoston and the Harlem Globetrotters partnered to engage over 5,000 Boston Public Schools (BPS) students in their September Read-a-Thon. Over the course of two weeks, K-5th graders at 21 schools vied to meet the Read-a-Thon challenge of reading

Over the course of six Parent Literacy Leadership workshops, parents from various parts of Boston came together to learn early childhood literacy and develop their leadership skills in order to share reading techniques with fellow parents in their communities.

On the Tadpole Playground in Boston Common, a mass of rambunctious, chatty, and excited kids have gathered. There are over 600 kids in attendance – a small event for the Tadpole where the Storymobile can attract upwards of 1,000 attendees.
